| I agree with Kolu and in part, with Jerome.
Environmental Clean Up and Maintenance is a collective effort. No one entity, NGO or government department can "Clean Up" Liberia. The citizens need to cooperate with the governmental and NGO efforts to clean up Liberia's environment.
Industries and businesses need to pay hefty fines for environmental policy violations. And enforcement of established policies need to occur.
Liberia needs Rule of Law and Judicial accountability. And the people need to have access to information and education on simple steps that each person can take to begin and maintain the clean up of Liberia's environment.
I could write a book on the matter, but this is a beginning. Let us stay positive and work together to do our own individual part in cleaning up Liberia, and then KEEPING Liberia Beautiful!

Subject: DDT to cmobat malaria? |
| I hope the LEW can persuade our government to ignore calls from certain sectors in the international community to introduce the chemical DDT to LIberia as a way to combat malaria. The chemical insecticide is a carcinogen and was banned in the US in 1972. While the American EPA has now approved the use of DDT, there have been no comprehensive or conclusive studies dnoe ruling out a causal relationship between DDT and forms of cancer. |

Subject: We need a cleaner environment |
| Liberia waste management and garbage collection needs to be managed by reliable entities in the private sector, cuz the current management is not working. The country, especially Monrovia is dirty than ever before.
